How to segregate the mail function in Blackberry and Outlook

Do you want to leave a copy of email in your blackberry while you are deleting email from your MS Outlook?
How about the other way round, deleted blackberry handheld email, and leave a copy in MS Outlook?

Here, Blackberry handheld itself having a good feature called "Email Reconciliation" to segregate the email function.

Following step is to set it up:
1) Click on then select options as snapshot shown below.

2) Next, please choose "Email Reconciliation" in list

3) Here is 3 setting you need to do.
- Delete on: Choose "Handheld" mean only will be deleted in handheld while you doing delete email in your handheld
- Wireless Reconcile: Just Uncheck the box.
- On Conflicts: Choose "Handheld Wins" as handheld will always the winner when there is any conflict occur between 3rd party mail software and blackberry handheld.

Then you can try to send a email into your mailbox, and you will be receiving email in both (Your handheld and 3rd Mail software), you may try to delete from one of them now.
Therefore you will see the result there. =)

Outlook Email goes to Outbox

Sometime, we are facing problem that MS Outlook email doesn't sent out immediately after we send the email. It will go into outbox and wait couple of time, it only sent out and keep in sent item folder.

How can we solve this issue?

Firstly, we need to check on MS Outlook setting, which you can follow the steps as below:

Steps for email send out immediately in MS Outlook
1) Go into the Outlook Options
2) then the Advanced option
3) under SEND AND RECEIVE, there is an option SEND IMMEDIATELY WHEN CONNECTED.
4) Check the box to activate this option.

Then now you can try to sent a test mail, see whether the email still goes to outbox or not.

WHAT IF the email still goes to outbox folder when you send out,
You may need to check on your antivirus,
Check whether got any Email Protection scanning or Outlook Protection Scanning,
Please do turn it off, and try to send a test mail again.

Location of Inbox Repair Tool (Scanpst.exe)

The location of this file is different for almost every version of Outlook and it sometimes also depends on which language of Outlook you have installed and even if you have it installed on a 32-bit version of Windows or 64-bit version of Windows.

Notes
The <locale ID> is a number to identify your language of Office. You can find an overview of the numbers here. You need to look in the "LCID Dec" column for the correct number.

When you connect to an Exchange server and need to check your local cache (ost-file) for errors you’ll need to run scanost.exe. You can find this in the same location as scanpst.exe except for Outlook 97/98/2000 and Outlook 2010. These versions of Outlook don’t have the scanost.exe feature. In this case, rename the ost-file to .old and Outlook will rebuild a new cache from the Exchange mailbox.

If scanpst.exe is unable to fix your pst-file, then it is too badly corrupted. You can then try repairing or salvage recoverable items via a 3rd party recovery tool such as Advanced Outlook Repair (for pst-files) or Advanced Exchange Recovery (for ost-files).

The location of NK2 file of MS Outlook

Sometime we are really frustrated by looking on NK2 file which store all the email address that we had used for past... maybe few month? year? or century? are you kidding, guys....

Anyway, the location of the NK2 AutoCompelete file created by Outlook might be different from one computer to another, depending on the operating system and the version of Outlook.


Here's the rules for finding the location of your NK2 file:

For Outlook 2003/2007 with Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003: 
The location of the nk2 file is C:\Documents and Settings\[User Profile]\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook 
The name of the NK2 file is identical to the Outlook profile name, with .nk2 extension.

For Outlook 2003/2007 with Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows server 2008: 
The location of the nk2 file is C:\Users\[User Profile]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook
The name of the NK2 file is identical to the Outlook profile name, with .nk2 extension.

For Outlook 2010 with Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows server 2008: 
The nk2 file is located in C:\Users\[User Profile]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache 
The name of the NK2 file is in the following format: Stream_Autocomplete_X_AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.dat

Change MS Office product key by Registry file

Step:
1) Run -> cmd -> regedit
2) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Office

3) Select the office version that installed in your machine
a. 11.0 – MS office 2003
b. 12.0 – MS office 2007
c. 14.0 – MS office 2010

Then go to Registration folder, go in the child folder

4) Just go ahead delete DigitalProductID and ProductID
5) Next, open MS office to re-enter the product key.

What is EDM?

Clean AutoComplete (NK2) in Outlook 2010

For Outlook 2003, 2007

You able to found NK2 file in

WinXP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application data\Microsoft\Outlook

Win7: C:\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

For Outlook 2010....

There is no more NK2 file.
The actual file you are looking for is located is:


C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache\Stream_Autocomplete*.dat.


Deleting this file will not clear your AutoComplete list. 

Use one of the methods listed below to reset the Outlook nickname cache for Microsoft Outlook 2010.

Method 1

1. With Outlook 2010 open, click File (BackStage), and then click Options.
2. Click the Mail tab.
3. Under Send Messages, click Empty Auto-Complete List.

Outlook will generate a new nickname cache.

Method 2

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Start Outlook by using the /CleanAutoCompleteCache switch.
   For example: Outlook.exe /CleanAutoCompleteCache
   Note If Outlook is not installed in the default location, you will need to point to the path of Outlook.exe.
